London Fashion Week with Anna Cofone

three models from the Roksanda show AW24

Stand-out session stylist, Anna Cofone returned to London Fashion making her debut with Authentic Beauty Concept. Anna’s creative expertise combined with Authentic Beauty Concept’s products allowed memorable hairstyles to be created, elevating the fashion shows at London Fashion Week AW24. We loved what we saw!

Sinead O’Dwyer

The most inclusive show throughout the Fashion Week scene. This was a world-first event in the fashion scene and major moment for the blind and low-vision community. Anna, the Hair and Care team have worked tirelessly with O’Dwyer and the British Fashion Council to make the show accessible.

Anna explains the hair:
The inspiration for this look is taken from the original 80’s power woman, sculpted figure hugging pieces married with hair pushed back off the face to with a beautiful finish to echo the theme of confidence, identity and authenticity. It was so amazing for Hair and Care to partner with Authentic Beauty Concept on Sinéad O’Dwyer’s show. All of our core values are beautifully aligned,  thank you to all the team for helping to make this collaboration happen.

Chet Lo

Inspiration:
The overarching mood is strength, confidence and the illusion of armour which Chet carries through the collection with multiple textures and the accentuation of hoods, and strong silver and monochromatic colour palette.

Anna explains the hair:
There is a futuristic feel to the hair look with three hero looks – first look is a slicked back Helmut shape with the addition of silver leaf; second look has a central slicked back panels with two accentuated spikes either side and the third, a deep side parting with one accentuated spike and painted silver leaf. The idea of the silver leaf and these slicked back spiked graphic shapes add the theme of Chet’s collection and the idea of the clothes becoming armour. My relationship with Chet has spanned more than 3 seasons and it’s one that I really treasure as there is absolute creative trust and a genuine authenticity within the design process. It was amazing to have the support of Authentic Beauty Concept, the products worked perfectly for what we needed to achieve.

Holzweiler

Anna and the team created beautiful, effortless low ponytails for Holzweiler’s latest collection evoking youthfulness with a confident attitude.

Anna explains the hair:
I absolutely love everything that Holzweiler represents and working with a brand that has so much passion in how they make people feel is always so inspiring and a breath of fresh air. They always love to enhance each models natural texture and so this is such a wonderful partnership with Authentic Beauty Concept.

Roksanda

The hair for Roksanda was sleek with accentuated details including combines, rounded partings, extreme lengths and beautiful twists.

Inspiration:
Taking inspiration from Roksanda’s beautiful collection, where we see the world of  Le Corbusier tapestries come to life through intricate rich fringed pieces that combine vivid colours, shapes, structures and textures, Anna Cofone wanted the hair to be a juxtaposition to this.

Anna explains the hair:
There is always so much drama and beauty in Roksanda’s collections and being able to see the pieces up close is so sensorial. It becomes an inspiring starting point to then be able to create shapes that marry with her vision, which is so authentically true to her passion and love for art. This was a perfect partnership with Authentic Beauty Concept and I thank all the team for their support.
