A love story

Larisa met and fell in love with her rock star husband in Amsterdam. Spending time in the Dutch capital sealed her affection for the city and she dreamed of opening a second salon this side of the Atlantic. Over a challenging six months, the couple set about creating their own home and salon. Poetically, the new Larisa Love salon is now located in the same building which history reveals actually was a salon back in 1954.

At an opening party for family, friends and clients as well as many industry colleagues, Larisa announced her happiness. “Never be afraid to dream. It might seem tough at times but never give up. I was so blessed to have the support of Sebastian, my friends and the contractors who shared the same vision as me. Bringing the salon to life was an incredible experience and I can say in all honesty dreams really do come true.”

The double aspect windows feature original stained-glass panels. The whole is flooded with natural light – essential for Larisa’s fabulous colour transformations.
