Fearless rockers and daring metal fans descended on Download Festival for a weekend of music madness and the KEVIN.MURPHY team was on-hand backstage to give performers and VIP guests the hair ride of their life.

KEVIN.MURPHY stylists Katie Guise and George Ruston used Rough.Rider, Bedroom.Hair and Session.Spray to style the hair of the headlining heavy metal band Slipknot, who quite literally tore up the stage on Saturday night. Performing a set that sent the arena into pure mayhem, their masks were terrifying for the rock ‘n’ roll virgin, but their hair was magically held in place for the entirety of their stage time. Boom!

Ariel from IconForHire

Perfectly pink

Styling her bright pink hair into a perfectly pinned updo, KEVIN.MURPHY Stylist Ana McCormack made sure Icon for Hire’s Ariel Bloomer was on point and ready for her performance with hair that lit up the stage. Ana used Hair.Resort Spray and Doo.Over with the sewing kit to weave the hair into a 1940s style up-do. A little Session.Spray was added for extra hold, whilst the bright beauty rocked out to thousands of adoring fans.

California based rock band Eagles of Death Metal captivated fans with their set, and KEVIN.MURPHY Stylist Holly Trickett made sure that badass lead basest Jennie Vee had killer curls that bounced as she worked her guitar. Holly used Staying.Alive to keep the condition of Jennie’s hair on top form and styled with Bedroom.Hair for a look that shouts ‘I’ve just woken up.’ The look was finished with a spritz Shimmer.Shine for added rockstar glamour.

Team KEVIN.MURPHY you totally rock!
