We already knew that with 96 shades COLOR.ME gives hairdressers freedom to get creative. After heading over to the COLOR.ME playlist on KEVIN.MURPHY‘s YouTube channel we sure are feeling inspired.
Whether you just want to learn about the range or you’re already familiar, there’s certainly something to learn. You’ll be left feeling like you want to get your hands dirty.
Here’s what we learnt….
Lightening wand
Put that pintail comb down! You can in fact just wave a magic wand… Well, kinda! Design Director, Kate Reid shows us that by using the LIGHTENING.WAND you can create subtle, natural-looking, dimensional highlights in just one sweep. The velcro-like applicator helps you precisely select random strands to create super-fine, seamless highlights, and baby-lights. Compared to traditional highlighting methods, this magic wand saves time whilst delivering a consistent colour pattern every time.
Atomic copper
We absolutely love to see a brand share a gorgeous formula. This atomic copper look is multi-tonal and dimensional, it really is the perfect blend of red and bronze.
Here’s how you can create this eye-catching colour
Roots: 5.43 + 6.3 + orange booster + 20 vol
Midlengths: 7.46 + 20 vol
Ends: 8.4 + clear + yellow booster + 30 vol
Dusty pink
We do love a pastel colour! Kate also shares how to create a gorgeous dusty pink – cute and totally on-trend right now.
Formula: 11.0 + 8.66 + 10 vol
A gorgeous way to add a touch of pink to pre-lightened hair.
