If you love session hair as much as we do, you’re likely swooning over the styles at Paris Couture Week. We’re looking at Kevin.Murphy, who, for the 14th consecutive season, partnered with Syrian-born designer Rami Al Ali for his Spring/Summer 2024/2025 Couture Collection.

Led by Session.Master Massimo Morello, the Kevin.Murphy team created low ponytails and loose bun styles that blended seamlessly with the gowns for a truly artistic look. Amidst the grandeur of Paris Couture Week, these hair looks undoubtedly commanded attention. It’s only fitting we ask Massimo to break them down…
Hair looks for Rami Al Ali SS24/25
โFor the hair, we took inspiration from the Beduin, which reminds Rami of his childhood,โ explains Massimo. โEverything is about the texture within the hair. We wanted to let the dresses and their details speak without being too loud with the hair โ yet avoiding it being too simple or flat. A subtle texture allows for movement, light reflection and build up, without competing with the gown and the detailing.โ

โThe key products to obtain this look are a foundation of Anti.Gravity.Spray and Ever.Bounce which holds and texturizes the waves in the hair. Set these with the Young.Again Dry Conditioner. The Young.Again Oil is the final touch on ends and mids for a smooth finish.โ

โIn the realm of the Bedouin, our models’ hairstyles reflect effortless elegance, framing the face with a relaxed, tousled allure. This aligns seamlessly with the collection’s overarching visionโcapturing the organic beauty and carefree spirit inspired by Bedouin aesthetics,โ says Rami Al Ali referencing the hair and partnership with Kevin.Murphy. Itโs no wonder this is a partnership that continues to flourish year after year.
