Joico masterpiece 2020

Joico Masterpiece collection

Lauren Jump for Joico

The JOICO Masterpiece collection is always a feast for the eyes. Rather than following the trends, it encourages stylists to push the boundaries of their own creativity.

Using Vero K-Pak Color the 2020 collection is inspired by Paul Klee, a Swiss-born painter with a unique style that was influenced by expressionism, cubism, surrealism, and orientalism. The stylist behind this year’s collection are JOICO guest artists – Dan Spiller (JOICO Color Ambassador for Europe, the UK and Ireland and member of the Marc Antoni Artistic Team), and Altin Ismaili (member of the Marc Antoni Artistic Team). Two pieces of Klee’s art were selected – Static-Dynamic Graduation from 1923 and Still Life from 1927. The guest artists were challenged to experiment with artistic techniques and the expressive power of colour. Inspiration was drawn from color theory, and techniques and patterns – basically anything that set their creative spirit free!

The world is your oyster, take inspiration and now go create.
