Last week we gave you the low down on Revlon Professional‘s Front Row Summit, but what we didn’t tell you is how the weekend in Madrid finished up with the International Hairdresser Awards – sponsored by Revlon Professional.
Revlon Professional have been sponsors of the International Hairdresser Awards since they began four year ago; sharing the mission of recognising the talent, art and creativity of hair professionals. This time, International Hairdressing Awards brought together the legends of contemporary hairdressing Robert Lobetta, Anthony Mascolo and Tony Rizzo on the same stage as well as presentations by world famous artistic teams X-presion, Pierre Ginsberg, Danilo Giangreco, Noname, Toni&Guy and Trevor Sorbie. Amongst this winners were Cos Sakkas of Toni&Guy , UK who was presented with the International Hairdresser of the Year award, and Industry legend Robert Lobetta who received the prestigious accolade of International Hair Legend of the Year 2022.
Matt Horder, Commercial Director UK & Ireland for Revlon Professional commented: “The whole weekend felt like a celebration of the best that hairdressing has to offer. To see so many talented names in one place, sharing their knowledge and demonstrating such inspiration was utterly memorable.”
A proud Cos Sakkas, Toni & Guy international artistic director and head of education, was thrilled to receive the International Hairdresser of the Year title. Cos, who was the only British hairdresser to be nominated for this year’s title, was chosen by a panel of judges from around the world.
