Schwarzkopf Professional on the lookout for social media savvy stylists for #SKPCollective

After 12 months of lockdown, the majority of you are probably more than familiar with Instagram Lives and Reels and you may already be considered Zoom pros! Hairdressers across the country are savvier than ever when it comes to creating digital content. Social media has provided a lifeline for salons to stay in touch with clients – as well as providing an exciting and interactive creative outlet. With that in mind, Schwarzkopf Professional has an exciting new opportunity for hairdressers who love a digital environment, with ONLY FIVE spaces for grabs on the #SKPCollective for 2021.

Thinking and breathing social media? This is for you! Open to hairdressers across the UK and Ireland, the #SKPCollective provides its members with a host of impressive benefits, including regular hands-on workshops covering social media skills and photography; access to industry events; opportunities to assist backstage at Schwarzkopf Professional events; a photography kit and access to new product launches ahead of the market. Sounds amazing, right?

In return, Schwarzkopf Professional will benefit from exclusive content produced by #SKPCollective members, as well as exciting and engaged brand champions – who are genuinely proud to spread the word for the brand, both in their salons and beyond. Are you ready?

How to apply

You don’t have a huge following? Fear not! You can apply, as long you love social media, enjoy creating engaging content and tutorials and want the opportunity to hone your skills, grow your network and develop your professional profile.

To audition, you need to create two short videos:

  • One 30 second video introducing yourself and explaining why you want to be part of the team
  • Another short video (think TikTok or Instagram Reels) showcasing a hair hack – show us your work and the products you use to create amazing hair for social media.

Send both videos via email to Elizabeth.glanville@henkel.com and John.beech@henkel.com. Please also include links to your social media profiles – make sure they’re public!

The deadline is 5pm on Friday 19th February 2021. Good luck y’all!
