INDOLA launches Street Style Collection

The sun is shining, the temperature is up and summer seems a very real thing now; therefore we are thirsty for some season inspo; INDOLA answers the call with the launch of its latest Street Style Collection! A new collection of sharp fits, high shine colours, and structured new cuts. Featuring the two BRAND NEW Looks and this Season’s Must-Have panelling techniques…

INDOLA is all about #simplysmarter. Working closely with their globe-trotting hair and fashion crew: hair stylists Paddy McDougall (@paddymcdougall) and Andy Smith (@andysmith_stylist), plus fashion stylist Christopher Maul (@styleofmaul), INDOLA seeks real-life inspiration and turns it into zero-fuss, trending looks that clients will be asking for at their appointments. Panelling Looks’ Inspiration

The two new season looks are fun, fearless and, as ever, inspired by the style of the streets. They combine the colours of toffee and honey with cool new shapes – they are more structured than summer’s softness, but still playful and super-flattering. The panelling colour technique allows you to make your shade shimmer. Fashion is all about borrowed-from-the-boys suit jackets and trousers, worn with a relaxed oversized fit – and fun pops of colour alongside greys and neutrals.

Blockbuster Technique #panelling

This season’s must-have blockbuster technique is #panelling! Panelling creates a seamless blend that achieves a shimmering multi-tonal effect! This trending technique has been used in both the INDOLA Street Style collection summer looks.

 Look 1

In Look 1, the panelling technique plays with the natural shades of toffee and honey blends. And the soft colour palette is highlighted with a fringe and face-framing look. The haircut has a strong face frame and dishevelled ends with a middle parting and a two-tier sectioning to keep a playful silhouette. The hair is worked to create a sleek and polished look, keeping it fresh and rebellious.

Look 2 draws its inspiration from soft brunette and caramel shades while the panelling technique creates a seamless blend with either complementing or contrasting colours to achieve a shimmering multi-tonal effect. The warm shades create an interesting palette of subtle yet present colour. The architectural inspiration provides a tailored shape and modern cut with suggested shop round edges that keep the colour placement in focus. The styling is sleek and rounded with no visible parting to showcase in full force the colour work at the front.

 Commenting on Indola’s latest Street Style Collection, Indola’s Global Ambassador Andy Smith says – “When working on the latest collection we took inspiration from the street children in Japan. The two-tiered cut jazzes up long hair and adds identity that is modern and fresh. Panelling look 2 is more of graphic shape working with flat undercuts and then a heavier rounded shape through the top creating the bowl like edge. We also worked with slight internal texture to relax some of the weight but to give it a head hugging street style look.
