We are so excited to hear that Great Lengths are on the path to becoming a B Corporation company. By meeting a strict criteria of measures put in place; taking into consideration the organisation’s impact on the environment, local communities, their workers, customers and suppliers; Great Lengths are set to become the first hair extension brand to join the select few companies part of the B Corporation initiative.
As one of the world’s leading hair extension brands we are thrilled to see Great Lengths using their influence for the greater good of the planet. We are also seeing the brand reinforce this message with their new responsible packaging.
Pouch & envelope
The new pouch and envelope are made from FSC certified paper. The paper is sourced from responsible forests and includes the brand ethos on every parcel: Passion, Craftsmanship, Responsibility and Empowerment. It is a great addition to eco-minded salons and clients alike.
By unifying the voice of the brand alongside the new packaging demonstrates their passion to reduce their impact on the environment by providing a second life to products and materials.
Tapes
The second step Great Lengths has taken on their eco-friendly mission is the new packaging for the Tapes range (including re-tapes, safety and cover bands). Previously you would have received these in plastic bags, however after a lot of thought and some re-designing these are now made from FSC paper and are 100% biodegradable and recyclable.
Great Lengths salons will start seeing these new initiatives over the upcoming months. Settting the brand apart from their competitors; and another step closer to their goal of achieving B Corp certification. Great work and congratulations to Great Lengths!
