Debunk the myths

Let’s take a dive into the world of hair extensions and debunk those common misconceptions you may have heard about Great Lengths!

Ensuring you provide your clients with excellent extension advice and aftercare will enable them to have the healthiest hair all summer long. Keep reading to uncover some common myths about Great Lengths extensions…

Is it safe to swim with extensions?

It’s recommended to avoid chlorinated water and daily swimming in the sea, however if your clients fancy a dip in the pool, recommend the diluted Great Lengths Anti Tap Water solution to restore the hair and scalp to its natural pH balance.

 Can Great Lengths be coloured?

Great Lengths extensions are made from 100% human hair, meaning they can be coloured, tonalised and customised to the client depending on the desired look

Can hair be worn up?

Great Lengths are discreet and seamless. Stylists can conceal the extensions, so they are not visible even with the hair tied up.

Will hair be damaged after the extensions are removed?

Once the hair has been professionally removed, the extensions need to be washed and conditioned to clean away any residue from the removal gel or spray. If the hair extensions have been well maintained with the correct aftercare, there will be no damage.
