ghd x Victoria Beckham AW22

Once again ghd have partnered with iconic fashion designer Victoria Beckham to create the ENHANCED TEXTURE hair trend for Victoria Beckham’s AW22 LFW presentation.

On behalf of ghd, Cyndia Harvey and her team worked to create an enhanced hair look, inspired by individuality, and capturing the natural movement and texture of the models’ hair. “ghd’s tools are just made for being backstage, they have everything you need to create any hair look and are truly the most hardworking tools out there.” says Cyndia Harvey.

The trend features an array of different styles and structures all with effortless shaping; think hair that looks like it’s been slept in, but with an effortless cool girl edge. The looks were achieved using the ghd Helios hairdryer, ghd Platinum+ styler and ghd’s NEW Thin Wand to add definition to natural curls. The ghd Unplugged styler was then used for on-set touch-ups, solidifying its position as the fashion week backstage essential.

ENHANCED TEXTURE – get the look

“The look for Victoria Beckham AW22 collection was natural, effortless hair. Victoria wanted the girl’s natural beauty and confidence to shine through. We did acentre parting on most of the girls, ensuring that it didn’t feel too perfect or forced, added some water and a little product such as ghd Pick Me Up Root Lift Spray , or ghd Dramatic Ending Serum where needed.” says Cyndia.

Step 1 – Prep
“To achieve the look today we started out prepping the hair with ghd Bodyguard Heat Protect Spray to create the perfect protection to ensure the hair doesn’t get damaged.”

Step 2 – Style
“To really capture the natural look, we let the hair air dry then finished with the ghd Helios hairdryer. We styled the sections with the ghd Thin Wand to add some definition to any natural curls or waves.

Step 3 – Finish
“We used the ghd Unplugged styler, which is such a versatile tool and great for touch ups, to add any final extra waved motion in the hair and give it a little bit more texture to promote natural movement. To finish we added the ghd Perfect Ending Final Fix Hairspray and ghd Curly Ever After whilst teasing the hair to keep the texture locked in place.”
