To celebrate the launch of the first compact and cordless professional styler, ghd threw a launch party at the Royal Pavillion in Milan. Why Milan? This is the hometown of International Brand Ambassador – Chiara Ferragni.
The event shared the dynamic spirit and attitude of movement that characterizes the unplugged styler. Guests took a trip into the ghd universe, through a journey that came to life via the settings, spaces and interactive elements. Every touch-point of the event was designed to celebrate the product itself and allow guests to fully immerse: from installations that involved the guests interacting with the product and discovering its multiple features; to the ‘Hair Lounge’ – a space with a modern design that referenced the ghd’s iconic colours and where guests had hands on hair moments, trialing the new styler with ghd professional stylists. Everything was designed to celebrate the new on the go product and to create a unique atmosphere and of course in compliance with Covid regulations.
Chiara made an appearance herself and took to the stage to share her love for ghd and the new unplugged styler, alongside ghd CEO Jeroen Temmerman and ghd Italy MD Stefano Filipazzi.
A host of high profile international influencer partners, clients and professional hair stylists also attended and were thrilled to be back at a global beauty launch. Guests included Pamela Reif, Marie Lopez, Aida Domenech, Beatrice Valli, Elisa Maino, Sanaa El Mahli, Marta Losito, Lisa Marie Schiffner, Laura Escanes and Katie Jane Hughes.
