We’ve got yet another look for you to master with your ghd max stylers. Ribbon curls are fab for day or night, a style you can dress up or dress down. That’s just the kind of versatility we need as our schedules start getting hectic again.
How-to create ribbon curls
Step 1: Evenly apply ghd root lift spray in layers
Step 2: Take a 2 inch horizontal section
Step 3: Place ghd max horizontally in the hair
Step 4: Turn ghd max 360° down towards the head
Step 5: Travel off base at 90° until you reach the ends of the hair
Step 6: On the next section, turn ghd max up towards the head, this will allow more volume between the hair
Step 7: Travel straight down at 45° until you reach the ends of the hair
Step 8: Continue until all the hair has been waved this way, alternating the direction of the first turn either up towards or down from the head as you work
Step 9: Using ghd paddle brush, dress all the hair until the waves form together
