Every day is Earth day

On 22nd April we celebrate Earth day, a day to demonstrate support for environmental protection. For Davines, every day is Earth Day. The brand have been reducing their carbon footprint since 2006! After years of studying and monitoring they became a carbon neutral company in 2018. Meaning they monitor, reduce and offset all emissions under their direct control. Although this was, and still is a remarkable result, it just wasn’t quite enough for Davines.

Road to net zero

After pledging to go beyond being a carbon neutral company, Davines committed to achieve net zero emissions by 2030, alongside 800 B corps. Achieving net zero emissions is a declaration that goes beyond carbon neutrality…

To be Net Zero, Davines will also have to tackle the  emissions indirectly related to its products.  In there your support is crucial, because the  use phasein salon and at home– is the biggest source of indirect emissions for haircare and beardcare.

The Sustainable Salon programme

Does what it says on the tin… A programme to make your salon more sustainable. Davines have very kindly opened this programme to all hairdressers in the world. We need to tackle the problem together! 

Extraordinary manual

This manual is for creative and brave hairdressers who want to improve the planet through their work. It offers 124 ideas inspired by the 17  sustainable development goals which were identified in 2015. One way to get a head start on the journey towards sustainability.
