Edeline Lee x Schwarzkopf Professional

Schwarzkopf Professional, brought its expertise to the forefront of fashion and hair styling, as hair partner and sponsor for Edeline Lee’s spectacular SS25 runway show.

The talented Philipp Haug (@hauglondonhaus) led a backstage team of stylists from within the Schwarzkopf Pro salon network, to create beautiful hair looks using Schwarzkopf’s premium styling range, Session Label.

Philipp Haug, lead hair stylist

“We really wanted to add strength into the look for Edeline Lee’s show, so for a lot of the models, we worked with a strong centre parting and pushed the hair away from the face.” Said Philipp Haug, UK Ambassador and Educator for Schwarzkopf Professional.

“In terms of the products used, firstly we prepped the hair using THE MOUSSE from Schwarzkopf Professional’s Session Label range. This is a great product as it’s a spray mousse, so you can lightly spray on the surface of the hair. To create the strong centre parting, we blow dried the hair really flat against the model’s head and applied Session Label’s THE JELLY to the top of the hair to add strength. We also comb marked the top to add a bit of edge. However, at the back of the hair, we wanted to create a really pretty detail, so we added a slight curl using tongs. This was then locked into place using THE STRONG hairspray from Session Label. Finally, we worked with Schwarzkopf Professional’s Fibre Clinix Light Oil, adding this into the lengths and ends of the hair. The oil is really light, so this gives the hair a lovely, polished sheen and a beautiful shine.”

By sponsoring this show, Schwarzkopf Professional provided a unique opportunity for salon stylists to immerse themselves backstage, actively participating in the creation of runway looks. This hands-on involvement not only enhanced their technical skills but also offered an invaluable learning experience.

“It was a great experience to work at London Fashion Week! I loved the fast pace of everything, and it was great working on the models one by one with guidance from Philipp. It was lovely to work with the children in the show too – they were so much fun.” – Rebecca Watkins, Room 23 Sterling.
