Davines Talent Green House is an international creative education programme and competition built for nurturing and supporting young talents of the industry. 100 passionate hair stylists from all over the world went on a journey of learning, collaboration and creation supported by the finest industry leaders and educators in the beginning of 2020. A unique contest in the hair industry where young talents can growth next to their mentors. What’s better than this really?

Although Talent Green House launch clashed with the Covid-19 outbreak, the programme went ahead and Davines is thrilled to share the incredible results produced by their students in the last months and allow you to vote for your favourite to go to the finals on Davines World Wide Hair Tour (WWHT).

A growth journey

The aim of the Talent Green House programme is to raise industry standards, helping hairdressers overcome growing lag in digital skills, increasing accessibility to knowledge, mentoring and providing new opportunities using new technologies and online.

Participants from Brazil, UK, USA, Mexico, Hong Kong, Russia, Thailand, Sweden, Germany, Spain (23 countries in total) took part in challenges and tasks, aimed at helping them build creative problem solving, digital and creative skills. They were coached in their learning journey by a team of Mentors, Davines hairstylists and qualified trainers, headed by the internationally acclaimed Davines hairstylist Candice McKay.

What’s next?

As part of the semi-final, participants will present their work in a series of daily episodes aired from 14 to 21 November at 9am on Davines Education Facebook page (Facebook/DavinesEducation).
