The new evo horizons colour collection represents the next frontier for colour. It’s been proving great inspiration for you and your client this Summer. So all eyes on what he has to share with you about the Colour Chameleon in particular.

The evo creative team put together this Horizons colour collection, and head of education and product development Jay Kownacki has this to say: “When formulating the new colours, this light violet/red gloss was a no-brainer. It’s perfect for all levels of blonde and swings in tone depending on your starting point so is a real chameleon.” Jay Kownacki, head of education and product development.

Now Tom gives you the step-by-step:

1 Prep your curly canvas with evo porosity equaliser, gentle stretching and smoothing out the curls with your hairdryer to prepare for an air touch technique.

2 Taking large slices, use the hairdryer to gently diffuse the density of each section, blowing down and away the shorter hairs and retaining the longest parts of the curls.

3 Apply evo bottle blonde powder lightener with the appropriate hue-verse developer until a clean level 9-10 is achieved.

4 Shampoo with evo ritual salvation, towel dry and follow with porosity equaliser before applying 9.57 demi and 6.5vol liquid developer evenly throughout the hair. Develop for 20 minutes and shampoo once more, finishing with top drop repair for an instant boost of shine and nourishment.

5 While still wet, layer evo whip it good moisture mousse and liquid rollers smoothing down the cuticle of the hair with a soft brush. Shake out and define curls by twisting with fingers. Use a diffuser attachment on your hairdryer keeping manipulation to a minimum.

6 Once totally dry and cool, gently massage, shake and mindfully separate the curls.

Now you know! It’s all over to you…
