#ColorCrafters

Schwarzkopf Professional invited 26 Creators to a beautiful location in Hamburg, Germany for their #ColorCrafters event. The event was all about sharing and expressing a love of colour and creativity under the motto, “be the colourist you want to be” which originates from Schwarzkopf Professional’s flagship colour brand, Igora Royal.

Who?

So who were the creators? A group of twenty-six hair artists, from seventeen different countries! The #ColorCrafters event saw an eclectic mix of colourists come together to share their colour visions – just what we like to see.

What?

The #ColorCrafters studio was split into different zones, including interactive ‘fun hubs’ and ‘photosets’, in addition to the working and backwash areas. The ‘fun hubs’ were particularly eye-catching, showcasing playful areas that featured oversized props and a kaleidoscope of colourful materials for the Creators to film or photograph as they presented their masterpieces.

Day one was all about getting to know each other, sparking inspiration and confidence, and look & learns. The second day is when the Creators got to work, getting hands on to create a whole host of colourful looks. The Creators let their visions come to life as they embraced the colourist within and expressed true craftsmanship to the world using Schwarzkopf Professional’s high-performance colour portfolio. Each product line boasts unique benefits to suit a variety of techniques and application styles, such as Igora Royal, Chroma ID, BlondMe or tbh – true beautiful honest.

Where?

Yes, #ColorCrafters was held in Germany but live footage from the event is available online for keen colourists.  #ColorCrafters was an event with a combined Creator following of over 3 million fans: including 1 million followers coming from America and Canada. Which is why, for both the Creators and Schwarzkopf Professional it was important to capture as much content as possible; to inspire, educate and motivate through colour over the months to come.
