Bonding for curly hair

The transformative power of bonding is often showcased in straight hair, but these treatments are also highly beneficial for curly and coily hair. The Uberliss Bond System has specifically been created to be suitable for all hair types, using sub-micron technology to enable ingredients to penetrate deep into the hair, straight or curly.

Here are six reasons why curly hair clients will benefit from bonding.

  1. Repairing Damage

Because of its structure, curly hair is naturally more prone to damage. The twists and turns in curly hair make the cuticle layer more prone to lifting, increasing the risk of breakage. Bonding treatments help repair and reinforce the hair’s internal structure, making it stronger and more resilient.

  1. Moisture Retention

Curly hair tends to be drier than straight hair because natural oils from the scalp have a harder time traveling down the hair shaft. Bonding treatments include ingredients that help to lock in moisture, ensuring curls remain hydrated, soft, and defined.

  1. Reducing Frizz

Frizz is a common issue for curly hair. Bonding treatments can smooth the hair cuticle, reducing frizz and helping curls maintain their shape and definition.

  1. Enhancing Curl Definition

By strengthening the hair’s internal bonds, these treatments can enhance the natural curl pattern. This leads to more defined, bouncy, and well-formed curls, making styling easier and improving the overall appearance of the hair.

  1. Preventing Breakage

The bends and coils in curly hair can lead to weak points that are more susceptible to breakage. Bonding treatments fortify these weak points by rebuilding broken bonds within the hair shaft, reducing breakage and promoting healthier growth.

  1. Improving Elasticity

Elasticity is crucial for curly hair to spring back into shape after being stretched or styled. Bonding treatments help improve the hair’s elasticity, allowing curls to return to their natural state without becoming limp or losing their shape.

Uberliss Bond System

The Uberliss Bond System is a simple three-step process:

Step 1: The Bond Regenerator uses Uberliss’ patented submicron technology that repairs broken hair bonds.

Step 2: The sulfate-free Bond Shampoo preps the hair to lock in the results. Other sulfate-free shampoos may erase the colour protection benefits.

Step 3: The Bond Amplifier reinforces the new bonds. It also reduces hair porosity and eliminates combing damage.
