Hairington a salon based in sunny Portsmouth has unveiled a new mural across a full external wall of the salon; combing the Kevin.Murphy Australian heritage with the UK’s South Coast. The artwork blends the tropical environment of Kevin.Murphyโs homeland, Sydney, the beautiful seaside town of Portsmouth and the iconic pastel shades of Kevin.Murphy products.
โThe wall was a complete blank canvas and gave us the perfect platform to really shout about the Kevin.Murphy values. โEnvironmentโ is one of the brandโs key pillars and living by the coast in Southsea we see first hand the impact we can have on the environment and our oceans. It is great to be able to use products which perform exceptionally and reduce environmental impactโ, Lauren Seidenstucker, founder of Hairington, said.

Handpainted by two sisters, the duo used completely re-cycled paint which had been hand-mixed to create new colours from the shades available – in keeping with Hairington and Kevin.Murphyโs environmental stance. โWeโve wanted to get our hands on this wall for years!โ, said the sisters, โwe canโt wait to go back to take more selfies!โ.
Hairington, opened in April 202 and is an inclusive salon which caters to clientsโ specific needs with a caring ethos, using exclusively Kevin.Murphy products. Founded by Lauren Seidenstucker, 25, the young and friendly salon has received exceptional reviews and is quickly becoming the go-to salon in the area. Lauren, who graduated from Highbury College with Level 2 and 3 in hairdressing, decided on the name Hairington due to her love of Bridgerton and completed the salon with beautiful hanging wisteria.
Hairington is certainly off to a flying start, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for them!
