There’s a been a hell of a lot of talk about the absence of black and afro hair over the past year. Why is there a separation between black and white hair? Whilst we do what we can to try and close this gap, we are thrilled to hear that Avlon Europe will be heading down to Salon International next month to share the beauty and knowledge behind working on afro and black hair types.
Avlon Europe have teamed up with The Fellowship for British Hairdressing and will have a presence on their stand at this year’s event. The Avlon team will be celebrating the brilliance of Afro hairdressing with some of the most iconic salons.
What to expect
- Eight Avlon salons will be performing over the weekend to showcase their work and educate the audience
- Michelle Thompson will be performing on the main stage – styling her model using Avlon products
- Avlon will also be running a competition on their stand for the chance to win 3 educational sessions and products
