Andrew Thomas Jones Talks Keratin Bonds

The most popular application method for Great Lengths hair extensions has to be the GL keratin bonds. Whether its length, volume or added colour, GL keratin bonds can be fully customised to suit all hair types – especially those with thinning or finer hair. They’re so discreet that GL stylists apply them for up-do’s too.

Great Lengths keratin has a molecular structure that closely resembles the structure and behaviour of human hair – it expands when wet and contracts when dry,  meaning that there’s no unnecessary tension on the natural hair. With an invisible and seamless application GL keratin bonds should last for 3-5 months.

Someone who knows a thing or two about GL keratin bond is Andrew Thomas Jones. Check out this reel which shows you just how discreet the bonds are.

Andrew says: “Applying hair extensions is so therapeutic, it’s why it’s the biggest service I offer.  Once I’m in the zone I find it really relaxing. Bonds are my favourite method and I love being able to add length and volume to clients but also just love being able to fill out finer hair and finer areas of the head. With GL keratin bonds I can cut the bond down to be really fine, allowing a seamless application around finer hairlines and crowns. Being able to blend shades to create the perfect colour match is so rewarding when I can see how happy the client is. When I applied hair extensions on my sister for the first time we added a lot of length which gave her so much confidence – being able to give someone that is pretty special.”
