Nutriplenish Curl Gelee

Curl Gelée

Ellie All about Aveda

There’s a gorgeous new addition to the Aveda Nutriplenish collection. Say hello to Curl Gelée – a multi-benefit styling solution for waves curls and coils.

With help from Aveda Texture Global stylists, the new ultra-hydrating Curl Gelée elongates curls without compromising definition – helping to create soft, smooth, shiny and defined waves, curls, and coils. We love the purity of the product too – a 96% naturally derived, cruelty-free, vegan and silicone-free frizz-fighting formula.

We love how this product is infused with the powerful Nutriplenish superfood complex. A blend of organic pomegranate oil, organic coconut oil and mango butter, the new Curl Gelée offers the flexible hold of a gel with the nourishment and moisture of a lightweight conditioner. The conditioning formula also helps to defend hair from humidity leaving waves, curls and coils – soft, smooth, shiny, elongated and defined.

How to use it

Nutriplenish Curl Gelée has been designed for all hair types (fine, medium, thick) and wavy, curly and coily hair textures.  Aveda’s Texture Global stylists, suggest it be used as follows:

  • Apply to client’s wet hair from root to tip.
  • For elongated curls – glide the curl gelée downward.
  • If it’s more defined curls you’re after, gently scrunch after application.
  • Air dry or blow-dry with a diffuser for added volume and curl definition.
  • Once hair is fully dry, give it a shake at the root and scrunch to soften curls.
