Kevin.Murphy were absolutley delighted to return to Melbourne Fashion Week as the official hair partner for the 20th consecutive year. The brand served as the hair director for shows including Arnsdorf, Moss Tunstall and Strateas Carlucci.
Leading the hair team was the man himself – Kevin Murphy – creating a variety of exciting and innovative looks using a slew of Kevin.Murphy’s iconic products. Styling for the shows was diverse, with less overarching trends and a focus on curl and shine.
The Melbourne Looks
Loose & Unstructured
Using Leave. In Repair for a moisture-driven look, Shimmer.Shine was added to refine the texture. Looks were finished with Session.Spray for hold.
Distorted Shapes & Braids
Body.Builder was used to prep for hair which was then braided and twisted into a 90’s inspired club-culture look. The hair was finished with the beloved Session.Spray Flex.
Slick with High Shine
Using Hair.Resort for hold and Goo for shine, looks were finished with the renowned Session.Spray.
Curl & Shine
Curl and shine were key players amongst the diverse hair types in each show, with SHIMMER.SHINE utilized as one of the core products for every look.
