Oh bravo! We’re thrilled to see award-winning British brand Electric London has been shortlisted for the Health & Wellbeing Awards 2026 hosted by Health & Wellbeing Magazine in three categories.

Electric London was founded by hairdresser and entrepreneur Mark Woolley, back in 2007 and has been grabbing headlines ever since. Most recently we see it has been shortlisted in the Shampoo/Conditioner Product of the Year twice. Step up and take bow both the Electric London H1 Hydrate Shampoo and H2 Hydrate Conditioner, and also the Electric London P1 Colour Protect Shampoo and P2 Colour Protect Conditioner! And, back to the excitement, we see Electric London has also been shortlisted for Sustainable Hero.
What’s the story?

Mark Woolley created the products range nearly 20 years ago and from the outset, the sustainable homegrown products were quickly adopted as favourites with salons throughout the UK. Close behind came visibility in the USA and more accolades for the brand with ingredients farmed at Mark’s own property, Falmer Court in Sussex. Home grown, best grown you could say.
Continuing the story, Electric has its own natural water source, fully recyclable packaging, and accesses water that is direct from a borehole on the land. There is also a rose garden that harvests rose oil for its signature Rose Oil Serum.

Following the announcement of three finalist places, Mark tells us: “I am delighted the judges recognise our sustainable credentials as a British brand. Great hair and a healthy planet can work side by side and sustainability is incredibly important to us. It’s our responsibility to create products that not only service the client, but care for the world we live in. We have an incredible piece of land in Sussex, with a natural resource in our borehole, and from the roses we grow to the coffee we serve, every decision is an opportunity to do things better.”

The winners are due to be announced later this year – possibly in December. But watch this space for news to come; we have no doubt the credentials of Electric London will continue to keep the name at the top of its class.
