Chloe Heyworth runs Micro Artistry, an award-winning Hair Clinic in Somerset. She’s a qualified trichologist and mult-award-winning scalp micropigmentation artist. In this podcast, she shares details of her career choice with Respectfully host Nicky Pope, as well as explaining exactly what her work entails.
Female hair loss is still under-discussed in the hair and beauty industry says Chloe. For the most part, attention goes to topical solutions and product-led routines. But services including scalp micro pigmentation (SMP) can be a powerful, low-impact alternative that restore confidence without ongoing consumption.

Chloe says: “Unlike many cosmetic approaches, SMP is long-lasting, minimal-waste, and ethically performed. A single treatment can replace years of reliance on hair-thickening products, concealers, and temporary solutions—making it a sustainable, high-impact option for clients.” Listen to the conversation to find out more.
Hair loss solutions
Over years of study and practice, Chloe has acquired a portfolio of solutions for hair loss which she offers through her Micro Artistry Hair Clinic. During the podcast you’ll hear about several…
Scalp micro pigmentation (SMP) is a form of tattooing on the scalp to replicate hair follicles. Chloe trained to Level 4 with the Finishing Touches group in the UK where she learned the ‘art’ of micro-pigmentation which as well as for being for scalps, can include cosmetic purposes such as permanent eyeliner, lip-blush and eyebrow tattooing. She works closely with both hairdressers and medical services. Other services include Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), and working with serums derived from stem cells applied through micro-needling.
The benefits of Chloe’s work are far-reaching and the services offered can be beneficial for many reasons, from adding density to the appearance of thinning hair, and to create the look of a shaved head for someone with pattern hair loss. Equally where circumstances make it suitable, then working with PRP, or stem cell serums might be more appropriate.
