Created to celebrate the ‘gift of giving’, the boxes honour the four students from the brand’s Shaping Futures social initiative, with each containing bestselling duos from the Schwarzkopf Professional portfolio: BLONDEME, FIBRE CLINIX and BONACURE.
Shaping Futures
In support of the launch, Henkel will donate €50,000 to Shaping Futures, a programme dedicated to empowering aspiring hairdressers around the world to turn their dreams into reality. Inspired by the students’ stories of resilience, purpose and transformation, the gift boxes have been designed by acclaimed Colombian artist Gina Rosas Moncada to reflect their roots, home country and identity. The vibrant artwork promises ‘stories of hope in every box’ and will be supported with coordinating shopping bags, mini giftboxes and complimentary cards, as well as POS salon support.

Gift boxes also include a QR code, enabling donations to support hairdressing and employability training in the Philippines, Thailand, Germany and Lebanon, as well as providing more information on the featured students’ stories:
Oday Habib, Germany: Originally from Syria, Oday fled to Lebanon and eventually Germany, before finding a ‘spark’ in a salon that would change everything. Joining Shaping Futures in 2018, Oday has gone on to own his own salon, proving that passion can find its way through the toughest of circumstances.
Hussam Hawa, Lebanon: Hussam began shampooing and cutting hair in Lebanon before joining Shaping Futures, quickly mastering colouring and styling. Today, he works out of a thriving barbershop in UAE, using everything he learned to grow and refine his craft.
Adel Ali, Jordan: Growing up in an SOS Children’s Village, Adel found his inspiration as a teenager, discovering a vision for the life he could create through the Shaping Futures programme. He’s turned his dream into his profession and is now a lead stylist at Franck Provost Paris in Jordan.
Annabell Maringal, Philippines: Raised in the close-knit SOS Children’s Village in Iloilo, Philip-pines, Annabell discovered her calling when she joined Shaping Futures. Having risen to every challenge, she is now a senior stylist at one of the top salons in the UAE.
