Earlier this month we had the pleasure of joining the Goldwell Colorsphere event in Milan, a spectacular gathering that brought together 1,200 hairdressers from around the world. Set in the fashion capital of Italy, the event was a true celebration of artistry, innovation, and community spirit. Visitors were invited to join masterclasses across the two-day event. Our favourite? ‘Oribe x Goldwell’ where we learnt how to compliment a hair colour with styling for a photoshoot…
The exclusive Oribe x Goldwell masterclass, was led by Oribe Principal Artist Nicci Welsh and Goldwell Artist Huub Eysink. The session focused on translating editorial techniques into salon-ready styles, and how to stage and capture them in a photoshoot. This masterclass was all about expanding your mindset and allowing light, colour and styling to work together.
Nicci says: “Editorial is a state of mind. It combines your thoughts and feelings into storytelling for your customers and clients.”
