EP145 – Not Another Club on switching up support for better business outcomes

In the studio

The guests for this edition of Respectfully include hairdressers and coaches; Sophia Hilton, Stacey Brogan and Jodie James. Together they represent a fantastic new initiative called Not Another Club.

L-R: Stacey, Jodie, Sophia and Nicky

Our host Nicky Pope invites them to share the premise of their new launch, to discuss the struggles of hairdressing UK in 2025, and what they propose by way of support. Speaking as one, Sophia, Stacey and Jodie share openly how they have met challenges in their own businesses, and what they’ve learned. They explain how this has shaped Not Another Club and, along with other ambassadors and coaches, thow the new club gives you support in myriad ways.

Keeping the industry on its toes, Sophia Hilton has closed her internationally renowned business Not Another Salon in order to focus on a new venture: Not Another Club. In the climate of economic uncertainty and with hairdressing seemingly fragmented, there is no copy-and-paste business model for hairdressers to follow. To suit a flexible approach to working, Sophia’s new initiative in Not Another Club is about ‘building a coaching company designed for the future.

Once in the club (fees are very accessible and paid monthly), you can draw down from training films and share with your team as well as invited one-to-one support where needed. A network of conversation groups – accessible 24/7 – mean you’re now part of a. community. In the near future, live gatherings will be part of the story.
