Lloyd Court joins us to share his view from the salon chair in this edition of the Respectfully podcast. He tells host Nicky Pope about his role as a hairdresser and Creative director of Sean Hanna Salons, and how he runs the business alongside a busy client list. Lloyd has recently won the Colourtastic Genius 2025 trophy in the Colour World genius Awards, he scooped the London Trophy at the L’Oreal Colour Trophy Awards in 2021 and is regularly seen on stage with the brand, working as an educator and credited for fabulous photographic collections. One of the most positive and energetic characters I’ve met in hairdressing, says Nicky.
When Lloyd met Nicky

In the conversation on Respectfully, you’ll hear Lloyd talking about his amazing career to date. He was the youngest hairdresser to gain his L’Oréal Colour Degree at the age of 18. Even today, shy of his 30th birthday, Lloyd impresses with his amazing achievements including now co-owning a salon. He has very dynamic and inclusive ideas on client services and how to create a salon culture that belongs to your brand. As someone who lives with ADHD, Lloyd has developed strategies and makes a virtue of being ‘the weird one’ – his words, not ours! We hope you enjoy this episode of Respectfully.
