New OSMO Ambassador Ryan Fitchett

Congratulations to barber Ryan Fitchett, who has been appointed an ambassador for OSMO!

Ryan’s barbering journey began age 17 when he took on an apprenticeship under renowned barber Cal Newsome. In May 2022, Ryan took a bold step and opened his own barbershop, STUDIO10, in his home town of Telford. The risk paid off, and the shop quickly became a success, earning the title of Best Barbershop in Shropshire at the English Business Awards in 2023.

Known for his unique style of barbering and attention to detail, Ryan goes beyond delivering a simple haircut, focusing on styling and tailoring recommendations to suit each client’s hair type and goals.

OSMO milestone

Ryan is now an OSMO Ambassador, marking an exciting milestone in his career. Reflecting on the opportunity, Ryan says: “I’m thrilled to be working with OSMO as a brand ambassador. It’s an incredible chance to showcase my work, connect with a wider audience, and dive deeper into education and product knowledge. OSMO has always been a brand I admire, and I’m excited to inspire other barbers with their amazing products.”

Within this new role, Ryan will showcase the versatility of OSMO’s products, educate barbers on techniques, and deepen his interest in men’s hair colouring. Education has always been a passion for Ryan; he offers one-on-one training to help other barbers refine their skills and has even had the opportunity to cut on stage at Barber Connect, early in his career.

Social Star

Social media has been a cornerstone of Ryan’s growth, helping him connect with barbers worldwide and showcase his work to a global audience. He believes businesses with a personal face resonate more with customers, building an online community and fostering trust. His advice for aspiring barbers and entrepreneurs? Stay consistent, stay motivated, and never forget how far you’ve come.

When it comes to OSMO, Ryan’s favourite products include the OSMO Power Powder, Matte Clay Extreme, and Curl Spray – essentials that reflect his dedication to styling and innovation. As he continues his work with OSMO, Ryan looks forward to creating more educational content and inspiring barbers everywhere.

“Ryan’s work is very on brand for OSMO, and we were eager to welcome him to the #OSMOFamily. His passion for our industry shows in his shop success, social media presence, and love of education. It’s going to be a great collaboration for both brands,” explains OSMO Senior Brand Manager, Sinéad McLaughlin.
