Step by Step
Step 1: Blow-Dry Prep
We started by blow-drying Rachel’s hair with products to achieve a smooth, polished base.
Step 2: Section, Braid & Initial Cut
Before installing the extensions, we sectioned out the nape of her hair and braided that area down to keep the shorter layers hidden. At this point, we also cut the extensions to match her length for a seamless blend.
Step 3: Remi Cachet Clip-In Deluxe Extensions
We used three rows of Remi Cachet Clip-in Deluxe Extensions, clipping them in from the nape up until all the braids were covered. This gave Rachel the perfect length and volume needed for this look.
Step 4: Straightened & Refine the Cut
Once the extensions were installed, we went in and refined the cut while they were in place to ensure everything blended naturally. Then we straightened all of the hair for a sleek finish.
Step 5: Snatched Half-Up, Half-Down
We pulled the top section of her hair into a snatched half-up ponytail, incorporating some of the extensions to bulk up the ponytail for a fuller look.
Step 6: Chignon Twist
To finish, we twisted the ponytail into a chic chignon twist and secured it with pins for that perfect, timeless red carpet vibe.
