Alectra Rothschild/Masculina
For danish designer Alectra Rothschild/Masculina the eclectic allure of a night that never ends formed the essence of this high-energy and inclusive afterparty-themed show.
corsets, lingerie, leather and nightgowns took centre stage, with hair playing an integral role in bringing the looks to life. Hair director Kaspar Andersen says he wanted to bring the untamed energy of an afterparty to the looks. “The whole vibe was centred around that exhilarating, almost surreal journey to the after-party, a time when everyone is still in their prime but just a bit undone from hours of dancing in the club,” he says. “Each hair look was a blend of polished glam and dishevelled cool as if these individuals had been out raving all night and were now finding their way to the next destination, embodying their truest, most daring selves.”
To create each look, stylists used haze styling powder, a super-lightweight formula that provides matte texture and volume to hair without residue and happy campers wearable treatment, a lightweight daily styling treatment to moisturise, strengthen and protect while adding style support.“I played with textures and volumes that felt both high fashion and authentically lived-in. the hairstyles embraced the spirit of individuality, reflecting not just the mood of the night but also the unique personalities of each model,” Kaspar explains.
Combining elements, like sleek, high-shine finishes with deliberate imperfections, such as strands falling out of place or waves that seemed to be half undone. “The idea was to capture the perfect collision of beauty and chaos. hair that looked glamorous in motion but had a certain rawness to it, as if touched by the heat of a dance floor.”
Set in the industrial area of the Hangar, the show drew an impressive crowd with 500 key influencers and media in attendance, including editors from Vogue Scandinavia.
