Daniel Lustig-Webb shares his experience in hairdressing and show business with Respectfully host, Nicky Pope. Hairdresser Daniel shot to fame when he joined his business partner Steven on Channel 4’s Gogglebox. Most of us know the chatty pair from their entertaining commentary on TV shows, life and hairdressing from this BAFTA-award-winning show. But Daniel and Steven also run two successful salons in the Brighton&Hove area of Sussex, and over 10 years have built a loyal clientele. In this podcast, Daniel shares how he has combined his life in show business with his work as a hairdresser, and his ambitions for opening another salon in the near future.
During the chat…
Thoroughly open and friendly, Daniel is as happy to demystify the intricacies of filming for the hit TV show as he is downloading his thoughts on the trials and tribulations of running a salon. Nicky and Daniel discuss how to recruit staff and build a team, as well as handling social media and plans for expansion. This is a lively conversation with a good insight into Daniel’s world and some pointers which you might find useful. Sit back and enjoy the banter.
