Silent Appointments

Silent appointments…We’re hearing about them all over socials (pardon the pun), but who is actually implementing them? Samantha Cusick London are! As part of an initiative to enhance the mental wellness aspect of the salon experience, clients can now book a silent appointment online.

In today’s fast-paced world, where mental wellness is increasingly recognised as paramount, Samantha Cusick London remains dedicated to empowering clients and prioritising their self-care journey. Recognising that a salon visit is not just about physical transformation but also mental rejuvenation, the salon group introduces silent appointments as a thoughtful gesture to honour clients’ need for personal space and tranquillity – we’ve all been there as we try and enjoy some time to detach from our busy lives.

Following a poll on social media where 78% of respondents expressed interest in the service, clients can now request silent appointments when booking their salon sessions. During these appointments, stylists refrain from engaging in small talk, fostering an environment of serenity and introspection for clients. This approach respects individual preferences and creates an atmosphere of mutual understanding and care.

In the salon

To ensure seamless implementation, Samantha Cusick London has devised a discreet method to indicate when a stylist is conducting a Silent Appointment – a small vase placed on the workstation serves as a subtle signal for the rest of the team to adjust their approach accordingly.

From a business perspective, the introduction of Silent Appointments underscores Samantha Cusick London’s commitment to inclusivity and personalised service. Client feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing appreciation for the option to unwind or focus on tasks such as ‘working from home.’ Additionally, clients value the convenience of booking silent appointments online, eliminating any potential discomfort associated with requesting the service in person.

Samantha Cusick, founder of Samantha Cusick London and Stā Studios, comments, ‘We remain committed to innovation and client-centric practices. Our Silent Appointment initiative supports our goal to elevate the salon experience and promote holistic wellness.’
