This Autumn, we joined Alfaparf Milano Professional for their #LoveYourEvolution tour in Cancun Mexico. Picture this: cocktails, beach backdrop, and creativity! We enjoyed four days in great company, including plenty of opportunities to learn more about the brand’s portfolio, future plans, and creativity. A magnificent gala hair show formed a highlight for all attending, who must have walked away feeling the passion of the industry.
So, why did Alfaparf Milano name this the #LoveYourEvolution Tour?
The love your evolution tour is inspired by the evolution of us as loving human beings. There is expression in love, and it can be shown in many different forms. Alfaparf emulates this. From human connections to a love for the environment and a desire to achieve better standards with their sustainability mission.
Lisa Marangon
Lisa Marangon, export manager at Alfaparf Milano, gave us an insight into the brand and its big plans for sustainability: “We aim to meet at least 13 out of the United Nation’s 17 sustainable development goals by 2030. Whereby we want to create long-term value through innovations, as well as mitigating climate change and taking care of our collaborators, clients and local communities.”
Hairstyle the Talent Show
Alongside this, we heard some exclusive news about the new TV show Alfaparf Milano Professional will be sponsoring. ‘Hairstyle the Talent Show’ is a reality TV format, currently being broadcast in Italy, Spain and the US. We’re particularly interested in this as the prize is a big one: the winner will win $150,000 to kickstart their own salon…This will be life-changing! We look forward to seeing clips.
The live show
Of course, gathering together in hairdressing, must include a live show! We enjoyed a stunner! The opening from the Mexican team, led by Coco & Guille, showed the work of members of the Alfaparf Milano Professional Mexico, Artigiani Artistic Team. The team showcased pastel colours, intricate cutting techniques, and interesting styling skills on a range of different models and hair types. It was fascinating to see the different fashion trends brewing in different countries.
Rudy Mostarda
Then to the star attraction, Rudy Mostarda, global creative director at Alfaparf Milano Professional. He showed off his creativity with a range of different looks, both pre-prepared as well as three live demos on stage. What an inspiring night. Thank you again for having us join you in Mexico and to everyone who was a part of making this fabulous event happen. We look forward to seeing the plans come to action in 2024, till next time!
