Even after 20 years together, there is no dimming of enthusiasm for an inspirational relationship between L’Oréal Professionnel and Central Saint Martins fashion design students. We love seeing what they do together, and among the regular collaborations, we adore the annual White Show.
White light
Taking place each December, the first-year fashion design students at CSM must create a single look in white fabric. This is an integral part of their studies on a BA Fashion Journalism & Communication course, and the theme varies year on year. For 2021 it was the Light Show, and hairdressers from the L’Oreal Professionnel ID Artists team lent their support. Leading them was session stylists Jason Hall. Get the look
Lead stylist for L’Oréal Professionnel, Jason Hall shares how to get the look: “The inspiration was space-age with influences from the movie Doon. Spray the hair with water and brush it up into a high ponytail (or low, if they had headdresses). Mix L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.Art Fix Max gel and L’Oréal Professionnel Liss Control smoothing cream in a bowl and brush into the swept-up hair for a high sheen and smooth finish. Straighten the lengths and spray with a little L’Oréal Professionnel Ring Light Shine-spray.”
