Training Standards
In July, it was announced that training for afro hair should fall under the standard hairdressing qualification. A move that Avlon very much welcomed.
Bonded by Blood
Avlon continued to support ACLT with the Bonded by Blood campaign which saw the brand encouraging people to give blood. Find out more HERE
The Big One
The Big One trophy came back for it’s third year, and obviously it made sense for Avlon to sponsor The One for Afro category.
Salon International
Making a comeback at the ExCel centre in London, hairdressers gathered around the Fellowship stand to catch the Avlon team at work and showcasing work on afro textured hair.
Hair Pieces
A brand new show with a brand new concept. Hair Pieces was a walk-through show that allowed the artist to be as creative as can be. Following on the tour was a ceremony for The Big One trophy. Graham Oakes crowned Anthony Grant as the winner for The One for Afro. See more HERE
