News added 26/10/17: The door clickers at Salon International were working harder than usual this year as the annual event was boosted by the addition of all the attendees to Wella Professional’s International Trendvision finale, hosted this year within the exhibition. We rocked up to check the action and among the most eye-catching stands we applaud the likes of ghd Professional, Schwarzkopf Professional – hosting the gallery for the British Hairdressing Awards finalists of course – Kent Brushes celebrating 240 years in business, and the pink cow at Crazy Colour! A good year all round we say, for the larger names present, with plenty of hairdressers working the platform, including Sassoon and Trevor Sorbie among the theatre shows to catch. See our favourite moments below:
News added 20/10/16: A national trichology conference, a hair health stage and a business bubble were all new additions to Salon International exhibition that gathered favourable comment in London last weekend. We took a spin around the pink carpet and thought the event had gained a little polish and pzazz since last year – a good direction to be going. We particularly liked the Schwarzkopf Professional’s stand including ‘virtual reality’ experience to grab your own hairdressing award – the display of entries for 2016 is always a must-see.
For smiles, the coloured sheep at Quif, for hairdressing info the HairClubLive and Mazelle & Palmer at Fudge Professional, and for iconic status, Sam McKnight signing books at BaByliss all caught our attention. There were strong live shows from Patrick Cameron, Sassoon and Toni&Guy – browse the gallery below for our favourite pics:
