The HOB Academy moves into 2018 with their new “HOB BESPOKE” programme. Focusing on creating and delivering individual, fully-personalised courses in external salons around the UK and internationally, it’s a real game-changer. Headed up by Akin Konizi and the HOB Creative Team, they will deliver 1 and 2-day courses based on each customer’s needs and requirements. Akin explains: “As industry education continues to move forward, salon owners are looking for something more personal. We’ve developed this new concept to allow salons around the world to benefit from the high calibre of training that HOB offers without the hassle and expense of coming to London.” Salon owners can choose from an extensive list of course content, or invent their own from scratch! Formats can vary from masterclass, to seminar, to workshop, and can include theory and practical components. We like your style, HOB! The HOB BESPOKE programme will not be limited to the UK either! The HOB Academy will be inviting their friends and associates from around the world to take advantage of the new programme. “Following shows and stage work we’ve done in Europe, America and Asia, we have solid relationships with salons overseas, and a large proportion of our current delegates travel to us from abroad”, says Akin. “We’re now looking forward to visiting them and being able to provide exciting education on their doorstep!”
The HOB Academy in Camden is still able to accommodate HOB BESPOKE bookings for salons that wish for to use the academy facilities, and are happy to travel to the venue with their team. The full HOB Academy course brochure will be published in February 2018.

Led by Akin Konizi, the team presented 14 models to an audience of international press as well as stylists and salon owners. Fittingly for a company that is London through to its core – and has a fab academy in the heart of Camden – the venue was the a la mode Proud club. We like the style. At the end of the evening and stressing the sentiments of HOB Academy, Akin said: “As hairdressers, we are craftsmen, and craftsmen never stop learning”. Hear hear! #HOBUNCUT
