Loving this collection which makes a play on current world politics! Nikki Porter at Rubi Hair, Australia uses images of powerful strong women in military ‘portraits’ to showcase her take on texture, cutting and colour. The most intricate look in the collection was constructed by using hessian wrapped and sprayed around the head, and once stiffened using a crochet hook, pieces of hair were half pulled up and through to create a frizz and make the hat and hair one.
