Toni&Guy International Artist team

For more than a decade Toni&Guy has been an official sponsor of London Fashion Week, with a huge session team proving time and again – over 26 seasons at least  – that they can send beautiful, head-turning hair down any catwalk, any venue. But this week, they stepped up their game with a daring show at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final in London’s Battersea Evolution centre.

They swapped high fashion style for avant-garde supremacy as the brand’s global creative director. Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck headed up her crack international artistic team to triumph over the longest of catwalk’s. One of the most high profile stages our industry offers. Including our favourites Indira Schauwecker and Cos Sakkas. The team presented ‘Elements’, inspired by natural elements earth, wind, water and fire but redrawn to be enhanced by modern technology to dramatic, futuristic effect.

Notwithstanding that this was a massive event  (with 1000 guests watching), the attention to detail and intricacy of the hair work is incredible and admirable. Study the pictures below carefully; admire the sumptuous designer clothing [courtesy of Giles Deacon], the make-up, shape and texture of the hair. This is no ordinary feat – what Toni&Guy has done is to reposition themselves as guardians of both couture hair and street style at the same time. Catwalk royalty, we salute you!
