Wella Professionals promises their Master Colour Expert programme is a “real career-changer” for the next generation of colour experts. (We know that’s a bit of a mouth full so let’s call it MCE.) We’ve got the lowdown from the team’s technical educator and you don’t want to miss out.
Technical educator, Scott Evans, spilled the beans on the 14 interactive training sessions which comprise the MCE programme. Each session is planned to discover new levels of technical thinking, which is later put into practice through colour workshops. The participants had two hands-on days with industry leading icons. This creative challenge sounds like a real test!
The six-month programme covers a variety of topics including:
- Advanced consultation and skin tone analysis
- Science of hair, colour and light
- Perfect care of hair
- Understanding and building creativity
- Business building tips and hits
The course is has full-on interactive training sessions, theory and practical workshops. Each student was under the guidance of experienced Wella World Studio educators. Guest artist Sean Nolan said the MCE programme helped him grow in confidence. He added:
“The programme is such an amazing opportunity to discover the full Wella portfolio in a hands-on creative environment, helping you grow your clientele.”
