Inspire UK

Inspire UK: Kerry Mather, owner @ KJM salons

rjhandley Schwarzkopf Professional

The concept for Schwarzkopf Professional’s Inspire UK team is a good one… allowing a hand-picked selection of hairdressers to create their own interpretation of key trends from the Essential Looks collections. This way, the trends can really resonate with clients by showing how wearable these looks can be for the everyday. We met with Kerry Mather, owner of KJM salons, to find out which EL collection she had chosen to reimagine:

“Being involved in the Inspire shoot was fantastic. I enjoyed working with the other hairdressers and salons from around the country. Seeing what other hairdressers are doing broadens my outlook and keeps me focused and driven. For me, Essential Looks was all about the Opulent collection – it was created glamorous yet wearable hair. For the Inspire shoot, I wanted to push this a little further and created a look that was ethereal and angelic. I wanted the colour and the texture to have an almost cloud-like feel. We love the research that goes into each EL collection, and use them as a tool for learning and inspiring each other. As a salon, we totally immerse ourselves in the fashion industry and pride ourselves on the fact that we’re not just another hair salon.  We trust in Schwarzkopf Professional, and our clients trust us. Clients know we understand the fashion industry and know that we can offer on-trend haircuts.”
